友人のサマーハウス 1

友人のご両親のサマーハウスを訪ねた。
場所はウメオより100km程北にあるSkellefteåという市。
夫妻は雪の降る時期は市の中心地区にあるアパートに、
それ以外の時期は中心地区から車で20分程のところにあるサマーハウスで暮している。

このサマーハウスでは近隣と共同利用の井戸から水を引いているのだが、
冬には管内の水が凍結してしまうためここに住めない。
近い将来には中心地区からの水道管が通るため、
その後はアパートは売り一年を通してサマーハウスに住むそうだ。
I visited parents of our friend, living in the summer house in Skellefteå, ca. 100km north from Umea. The house locates in a very quiet place and faces to the sea. The owners love this house and wish to live there all year round. However, since the fresh waster, supplied from the shared well, freezes, they have to stay in a small apartment in the center of the city during winter. When the new water supply system set up, which will be done in near future, they will sell thier apartment and stay in the summer house all year around.

家は10×8㎡程、庭は30×40㎡程の広さ。
写真奥は海。
The main house is not big, ca. 10 x 8 m including all the rooms. The garden is about 30 x 40 m and connects to the sea.
